Our site in Rugby, employing over 700 people, and growing, represents the pinnacle of Engineering excellence and innovation in steam turbines, renewable power technologies and aerodynamic design for rotating plant. In addition, Rugby hosts world class research, development and testing facilities for a range of power plant products as well as its centres of excellence for steam turbine development, design, retrofit and refurbishment.
The steam turbines are used for both industrial and power generation applications utilizing steam generated from sources such as geothermal, bio-mass, concentrated solar and waste-to-energy, as well as the more typical power generation sources of gas, nuclear and coal.
